Today the girls and I were just playing around with the camera. They both got new outfits and Austy wanted me to take a picture of them. I just think they are so cute. : )

Addy is feeling much better. After a blood test was taken they said it was a virus. I'm so glad she feels better. Thank you to all those who prayed fo her.

Pray

Addy has been crying since yesterday about being in pain. I took her to the doc but the test they did was clear. She is still crying and they want to see her back. Just please pray its nothing big and that she gets better soon.

My four year old decided today she is big enough to dress herself. I just love how it came out. : ) She is so proud of herself.

7 Years

Wow, its been seven years already!! I am so blessed to have the greatest husband ever. Poor thing, he puts up with a lot from me. :) I'm not very good at writing all this stuff but I just wanted to say I love you Joely!! Thanks for being you. I'm looking forward to the many years to come.

New Orleans

Joel and I had the awesome blessing of getting to have a couple days to ourselves last week. A wonderful dear friend of ours watched our kids so we could go on our first trip since the kids were born. Wow, it was great. I missed the kids bad, but I will admit, it was a great break. We went to New Orleans and stayed in a nice hotel down town. There were parts of the experience of NO that were good and some that were not so good. The artistic part and the history part were just about the only good thing. Of course the being together part was good too. : ) We saw a lot of things I only thought were made up in movies. I left very thoughtful and sad. I am very thankful though for my great husband and the time we had together. He is such a great man!

Here are just a few pics from our trip. We were able to go on a carriage ride, see a plantation, and just take walks and watch all the people on the streets. I wish I could have captured everything we saw.

Pretty Day

The weather is so awesome today! Joel and I decided to head to Lake Charles early this morning to go see a couple people that are in the hospital. While we were in Lake Charles we decided to go see the new park they have just finished building. It was so fun for the kids and easy for us. :) I took a couple pictures of them playing on all the fun stuff.

Baby Jessica

Why??

I know we are not supposed to ask that question, but today I've asked it tons of times.

I feel pain! Major pain for a mom that has lost her baby. She had to trust someone with her kids while she went to work. She left with no fear of them being hurt or gone when she got home.

Two year old Jessica found the place in the fence where the boards where missing, and while no one was watching, fell in the pool. Too many minutes later they found her there and for two days she fought for her life. She is gone from us now.

Its so hard for me not to ask the question. WHY????

May God bless and comfort Jennifer. Guys please please pray with me for this mom and family.

God has blessed me with so many awesome friends! These are just two of them that I've had the great and awesome opportunity to spend time with lately. I thank God for the encouragement these two girls give me everyday. I love you Tricia and Lindsey!!

These last two weeks have been crazy, but man have I been blessed.

The family and I were able to go up to my moms in Granbury, Tx. for a quick visit. We managed to dodge the storms and get away without hardly a drop of rain. My poor mom and dad though got a total car makeover . Joel says it now looks like a golf ball. : ) They had to sit and listen for 30 minutes while the hail got it. No fun! Hoefuly everything will be fixed quickly for them.

Getting home, I pretty much hit the ground running. Tons of classes, meetings and parties. I'm praying this is not what I have to look forward to this summer. I dont know if I can handle much more. AAAHHH!!! My poor kids have been going and going and I know they are ready to stop. This morning I had bible study and they were so upset we had to leave. I've got to do better.

My sweet little girl turned four this last tuesday. Man they grow so fast. She is so sweet and so difficult at the same time. I pray we both make it. Here is a picture from last week while we were at the zoo. The birds were so cool.
