12 Years

Today I had a total of three people not only tell me I looked young but that I looked "12 years old". I could scream!!!! I know I'm going to LOVE it when I'm fourty but NOT TODAY! I dont love it today. Why do people feel like they have to bring it up every time they run in to you?

If you are one of those stupid people that tell others they look young, STOP. Unless of course they are fourty or above. Then, MAYBE, it would make that person feel better about themselves.

So, we are sitting at the doctors office for Ethan's 6 year check up, answering all the stupid questions they feel like they have to ask.

"Do you let him go outside?"
"Do you brush his teeth?"
"Do you let him eat dirt and paint?" WHAT?? Yep!!
"Is he sleeping in his own bed?" DUH!
"Does he have friends?"
"Whats this bruise from?"
"Whats that bruise from?"

My answer to this question... "Despite how safe I try to keep them, they always seem to get bumps and bruises."

Of course my sweet six year old feels like he has to add.. "Ya, my mom is a scaredy cat!!"

While I feel like this is very unfair, my sister is in the corner laughing and shaking her head yes.

It's amazing how a six year old sees things. I'm going to try very hard to let my sweet boy be a boy and not be so scared. : )

Just starting

Well, here goes.... I thought maybe it would be cool to start a real blog. I know a lot of my friends, and people that I know, have one and I enjoy reading theirs.
