Nature Walk

We are taking natures walks this year as part of school! The kids love this part of the day. We went out with their compasses and magnifying glasses. They found all kinds of fun stuff to come in and enter into their nature journals. Its amazing to see how creative they are. Looking forward to seeing how the rest of the year goes!!

First Day of School

Today we had our first day of school!! We tried to make the day a little lighter than it will be so they could get into it. I think it went pretty well, they seem excited so far. : ) I'm feeling greatly blessed!!

Outside my window.... the rain is falling

I am thinking... of How school is going to go for the next 12 years.

From the learning rooms... Just getting started for this school year.

I am thankful for... my husband who is so wonderful

From the kitchen... Yummy Gumbo

I am wearing... Black ( I have way to much of it)

I am reading... lots and lots of school books : )

I am hoping... that God makes things clear

I am creating... not much

I am praying... for my husband and children

Around the house... trying to organize for the upcoming school year

A few plans for the rest of the week... go through the kids rooms and menu plan for next week/month
